The Vice Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University paid unnotice visitation to one of the male hostels ( Adekunle Fajuyi Hall ) .
Professor Ogunbodede alongside with the Deen of students Affair ,prof Aransi , the VC came exactly 5pm on Monday .
He came with the intention to gather some information about what is going on in the Adekunle Fajuyi hall , the professor was taken to some places that need serious attention and if left unattended it may pose serious danger for the stakeholders,on hearing this ,the VC commands the engineer to do the needful .
During the inspection the VC was approached by some members of the ACJ journalist who asked the professor question concerning the renovation of Adekunle Fajuyi Hall and the VC gave a perfect response to the journalist by saying that the federal government is not the one responsible for the renovation and that some allumni tasked theirselves for the benefit of the university, while some of them have volunteered to renovate female hostels and we are still waiting for some sponsorers to take to renovate the remaining halls
These journalists throw the recent transportation issue to VC who said in his word ..
We're working on that, as you can see we've released two buses to cushion the effects of the transportation problem, the school is also working to provide more shuttles that will be conveying students. During my time, as an undergraduate about 40years ago some students were staying off campus and the school provided free transport for those students, if we get more shuttles we may also make it free for students ".
When further asked concerning the safety of life and properties of the student ,his henchmen interrupted the question by saying "may be next time "
