Simple and Sober Method
Step 1 : Copy the link of the video you are trying to download . (If you do not know how to copy the link , then simply click on share option provided below the video and it will show you the option of copying link)
Step 2 : Open your browser (Preferably Chrome)
Step 4 : Paste the link of video you have just copied in the space provided
Step 5 : It will give you various options (to select the quality of video you want to download . Depending upon the video , number of quality options varies , not all videos are 720p or higher on YouTube , specially old ones)
Vola!!! Your Download has started (It will be saved in your phone)
This Same method can be used for downloading YouTube videos on Desktops and Laptops too .
