I, Adeleke Ayoola the CEO and the Editor in Chief of Parrotnews Agency hereby tender my unreserved apology to the Law Students' Society for a misleading information in one of our broadcasts which we published on the 5th of September, 2018 with the headline " Police Arrest OAU Law Student For Duping Several Admission Seekers" which should actually be" Police Arrest a young man who claims to be an OAU Law Student For Duping Several Admission Seekers"
I need to say with sincerity that we did not aim at tarnishing the image of the highly esteemed Faculty of Law or any of her member. We are sincerely sorry for the error and we regret making such mistake from our agency.
I, on behalf of the agency therefore take responsibility for the mistake and promise that our agency will not repeat such error again.
Concerning the content of this particular news with the headline that infuriates members of the Faculty of Law and seems to have tarnished the image of the society, I would like Law Students' Society to consult the OSUNDEFENDER News Agency for the real information on the broadcast.
I anticipate your favorable reaction as I hope my apology on behalf of the agency is considered.
