OAU Students Lament As Heavy Rain Pour Causes Over-flooding And Loss Of Properties In Their Apartment.(Photos)

Earlier today, it was reported that there was an heavy downpour in ile-ife which started in the early of hours of today and lasted several hours.

The heavy downpour which rained heavily in major parts of Ile-ife such as; modakeke, asherifa, OAU THC and lagere led to a lot of environmental damages and properties loss as the heavy downpour which lasted several hours eventually led to flooding in the said locations of ile-ife.

Parrotnews gathered that apart from the inaccessible access road to individual student locations, some of their houses have been seriously affected with the flooding and makes it  difficult for them to stay in, while some who kept their credentials in the house also that their documents which are very vital have also been destroyed.

We however gathered that the over-flooding is becoming more of a threat to residents of town residences, especially for students who have early-morning lectures on campus.
